We need to stop feeling sorry for ourselves. And we can start doing that by clearing our past resentments. This will then allow room for new thoughts. When we start letting our higher power in, it is amazing how much freedom one can feel.
Here is the hard part, you have to first write them down. We are programmed to only handle one thing at a time. It doesn’t matter if someone can multi-task. No one can handle all the past resentment and items we need to review in our 4th step without a reference. That is where the writing comes in.
