Willing to change. Can the idea of something new or different keep us from sobriety…Hell Yea. ‘If you are unhappy with the program, or feel you are not able to change to make the program work, then please go find another path or go back to the way you were and we will refund all your pain an suffering.’ is what a counselor of mine used to say. If we don’t approach the program with the idea that we can change then the battle is lost before it begins.
Keeping an open mind, and be willing to listen to new ideas is a good tarting point. From there the only place to go is up.
